Thanks to your tax deductible donations, and the dedicated efforts of our wonderful volunteers and staff, the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley is able to help thousands of animals and people, in a year’s time, the Humane Society does the following:

• Spays or neuters more than 8,000 dogs and cats to prevent pet overpopulation.
• Provides more than 33,600 vaccinations to keep pets healthy, as well as medical treatment to approximately 3,500 animals.
• Gives free education presentations to more than 17,600 children and adults.
• Investigates approximately 500 cases of animal abuse and neglect.

Celebrate Your Love for Animals

You can leave a legacy for animals, honor a much loved pet, or any loved one by purchasing a commemorative tile or brick. Your tile will be placed on the wall in the Joyce Martin Education Auditorium, or a brick can be placed in the Irene Moore Memorial Garden. Click here for a memorial form.

Giving made Easy...

The Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley is pleased to offer a variety of ways for people to help our animals. You are needed and all gifts are appreciated. Your gifts enable us to continue providing education programs, spay/neuter surgeries and animal protection in our community.

Gifts of Cash: A simple and direct way to make a gift. Gifts of cash can be made on-line using a credit card through a secure web site at http://hssbv.org. Checks can be made payable to the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley.

Stocks: Giving stock is an excellent way to help the animals. Avoid capital gains tax and get full value as a charitable deduction.

Tangible Personal Property: Gifts of tangible personal property may include furniture, equipment, books, gems, precious metals, art, or nearly any type of property.

Real Estate: An outright gift of a residence, vacation home, ranch, commercial building or vacant land can be an excellent way to support the Society.

Matching Gifts: Visit your employer's Human Resource office to see if your organization matches employee gifts!

Bequests: Making a bequest in your will or living trust is a common and efficient avenue of support. You make a contribution without reducing your assets during your lifetime.

Tributes or Memorial Gifts: Gifts can be made in honor or in memory of a pet or loved one.

Pledges: A gift can be paid over a period of up to five years by making a written pledge.

Specialized Giving Vehicles: There are other vehicles for giving that will provide for you doing your lifetime while at the same time helping the Society.

Donate Your Car to Help Us Help Animals!

Call 1-866-628-CARS (2277) to start the process today! The Humane Society is pleased to partner with Vehicles for Charity to create an opportunity for our donors to support us through the donation of their car. You may also begin the process by accessing the on-line donation form at www.vehiclesforcharity.org.

Vehicles for Charity accepts cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, recreational vehicles, campers and more. They provide free pick-up at your home or office and will provide documentation that you need for your tax records. 100% of the net funds generated from the sale of your vehicle will go to the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley. Before making your donation, be sure that you have a clear title with your name listed in the owner's section, without assignment or transfer to another person; your car keys; and when you call or complete the on-line form, your title and current mileage in hand. Your vehicle will be picked up between two and four business days and you will be contacted by the towing company to arrange for pick-up.

If you are planning on buying a new car in 2008 make a donation of your old one and make a difference for the animals!

If you give to the United Way through your company you can designate the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley to be the recipient of your monthly contribution. In addition, you can check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program to help your donation go further.
